AVG Antivirus Free 2013 is free antivirus and anti-malware software with a new interface to make it compatible with Windows 8. This antivirus is light weighted as compared to Avast Free Antivirus.
The AVG installer has reduced its size and installation time. Pre-setup file is about 4 MB size while the whole installer is about 34 MB. You can select or un-select the options of AVG toolbar and AVG search options during installation process.
You are asked to install basic protection (Free Antivirus) and Internet Security (30 days trial) during the installation process.
